November 15, 1958 - Constitution adopted at first meeting in the Moose
Jaw Public Library
1967 - Membership increased from 9
charter members to 125
1977 - 20th. anniversary of the
Society celebrated at St. Mark's church
1985 - Assisted with summer
meet - Grasslands
Donation to Wakamow for trees in Connors Park
1986 - installed bird feeder and
nest boxes in Wakamow
l990 - installed nest boxes for
burrowing owls.
2000 - hosted Spring Meet at
Woodacres in Moose Jaw
2001 - Species at risk
program introduced into schools
2002 - Revised Birding
